We would like to update our patients regarding the availability of weight loss injections, such as Mounjaro, for weight management.
As of June 23rd, GP practices are permitted to prescribe Mounjaro. However, Norwich Health Centre are currently unable to offer this treatment. This is because Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) has not yet approved the service for GP practices in our area.
Please also be aware, if/when the ICB do approve the service, you must meet very strict criteria in order to be eligible for Mounjaro to be prescribed for weight management.
