Dear Practice,
As you would have been made aware there is currently a shortage of the equipment/ needles used within Phlebotomy services on a regional scale. In line with advice from the ICB and System partners, the Walk in Centre has been asked to scale back all non-urgent Phlebotomy work, therefore we ask that GP Practices support and only send patients who require urgent bloodwork to the Walk in Centre until further notice.
