Your repeat prescription will be available for you to pick up 2 working days after ordering. Please note that Bank Holidays and weekends are not working days. You can ask for a repeat prescription as follows:
Patients requesting repeat prescriptions can either bring in their repeat counterfoil slip or use the request form available on reception, to pop in the box, or they can send them in with a SAE, and we will post them back. We are unable to take repeat prescription requests via telephone. For your convenience, most pharmacies will collect your prescription from us to save you a journey. This service is free.
The prescription team will be available from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday to answer any queries you may have.
If you are newly registered and have noted on your registration form that you are currently prescribed repeat medication, an appointment will be made for you to see a Nurse Practioner who will set up all of your required medication.
We now offer an online repeat prescription service for our registered patients. In order to use this service you must register in the surgery where you will receive a username and password. You can then access the online repeat prescription service > . Please note that prescriptions ordered through the online system still take 2 working days to process which does not include bank holidays or weekends. You can also request access to your medical record through SystmOnline and we are now offering a limited number of appointment slots which can be booked online.
If you would like to sign up to these online services please ask at reception.
Some pharmacies now process Repeat Prescription requests for patients. They will collect the prescriptions and dispense the medication ready for you to collect. We now use Electronic Prescriptions so that if you have a nominated pharmacy the prescription can be send electronically directly to the pharmacy of your choice.
